Le Patton Restaurant

Okay, so Bernard if you're reading this, here's where I'd like to go for our next anniversary dinner... Hint, hint...

This restaurant's name has always caught my attention so I stopped to investigate further while wating for the kids to get out of school in Fontainebleau one day... The bourgeoise building is attached to one where Picasso lived in 1921, according to Le Patton's web site, www.lepatton.fr. Their menu looks dreamy. I'm curious about their shrimp salad with Patton cocktail sauce... And filet de cabillaud sauce romanesco (a white fish) with red peppers, almonds and garlic sounds scrumptious...

The restaurant is named of course for General George Patton, Jr. I'll explain his connection to Fontainbleau in tomorrow's post...
