Dryer Drudgery

In case you've ever been under the false impression that living in France is at all glamorous... Let me share a few notes about my dryer... Above, this is your standard lint filter. But below, this tube on the right is a water filter... It has to be emptied after every use... And, if you ever do move here, don't let your husband give you instructions on usage of such a machine while you're still bleary eyed and jetlagged...

Because <scroll down>....

You just might forget about that third filter, the really nasty one that needs cleaning about once a month or more... These slats fill up with more lint, and it's wet, so removal is quite interesting. I like French cheese knives for this job, personally, because they've got a double tip to catch the goop... And yes, I have to clean them one by one...

Thankfully, we are moving soon and among our new purchases will be a wet vac...
